The app has been rated poorly for flawed interface so its difficult to check the app and its working functionality. We would advise your to not install it or if you do, make sure you launch a complaint to the developers as well.

7Dubai Islamic Bank Pakistan

Dubai Islamic Bank offers a web interface for login and registration along with smartphone apps. Sadly the iOS app has not been updated for over a year frustrating its users and damaging the rating on App Store. The Android app has a tonne of negative reviews as well. So although we wouldn’t recommend downloading the app, you should know that it does exist.

Below is what all you can apparently do with their app as ‘proclaimed’ by DIB:

  • View account details
  • Transfer Funds
  • Add Beneficiaries.
  • Place fixed deposits and view existing fixed deposits
  • Create a payment order, demand draft and order cheque book
  • Pay Bills

8Faysal Bank Limited

The Faysal Bank Mobit app is available for both smartphone platforms but sadly the apps have not been updated since 2015, which in other word means over 3 years. Perhaps the bank is not dedicated to its users… or not interested in harnessing the emerging tech. Faysal Bank customers can always use the web interface for availing facilities like:

  • Managing Accounts
  • Transfer Funds
  • Pay All Bills
  • Pay Faysal Bank Credit card and loans
  • Maintain beneficiaries
  • Free SMS alert on your every transaction through Mobit app.

11Habib Metropolitan Bank

HabibMetro Bank customers need to subscribe to Habib Metro web banking in order to use the same login and password for the apps. Unfortunately there is no web based interface for subscribing to HabibMetro web Banking and you will have to visit your parent branch for subscribing to HabibMetro web banking. The app offers the following features

  • Fund Transfers
  • Utility Bill Payments
  • Account Details
  • Add & Remove Beneficiaries
  • Set reminders for fund transfers and bill payments
  • Change your password, PIN and manage biometric login
  • Locate nearest ATMs and branches
  • Get updates about discounts and offers

The app seems to have awful reviews regarding failed logins on Google Store and Apple Store doesn’t boast anything opposite either. Perhaps contacting the developing team of bank is mandatory for app users.

12JS Bank Limited

With just a web portal and Android app, JS Bank’s internet banking can be registered via 0800-0112.

Considering the app was last updated 3 years back, there is 95% chance that its outdated, malfunctioning and full of bugs. There is also no support for credit cards and no app for iOS devices.

In order to reach out to iOS users, windows phone users, and the rest of the customers, JS bank has created a web interface. The app and web portal are thankfully secured by military-grade encryption standards. In case the internet is unavailable, the Android app uses standard charges to send SMS for queries generated by user.

  • Transfer Funds
  • Locate JS ATMs and branches
